Hi everyone,
So we all know how sensitive May can be, but what really surprised me was when we found out that May had 1st: built the wall herself and 2nd: written on the peaces of paper...... If we look back on page 80 we see Lily take out a peace of paper and read Birmingham, Sept 15, four little ones dead. This only leads me to wonder what that means, and if May can feel more pain that is just brought up or shown in the house.
The paper that Lily is reading is about a church bombing that killed four girls.

ReplyDeleteI feel bad for May as well. She has to carry the weight of the world on her shoulders, which would be very distressful for anyone, especially someone who lost her twin sister to suicide.
