Is it a true forbidden love?

In chapter 7, there was a lot going on between Lily and Zach. They had a connection that the readers could feel just by reading the words on a page. At the end of the chapter, they both agree that a relationship could never happen. I really want this relationship to happen, as I think it is destined to be. Do you think this is a true forbidden love between them, or do you think they will do something and go against the odds? Will they be able to love without fear?
