Rosaleen Vs. Lily

Does anyone agree that there might have been a character vs character with Rosaleen and lily before they went to the farm how Rosaleen got mad at here because Rosaleen felt left out when lily said she was going to run away for herself and then Rosaleen got mad at lily because she thought lily was doing this for herself and left to go to the lake.

    I totally agree!! I think that Rosaleen likes lily, but she doesn't want to make life changing choices. At the beginning of the book, Rosaleen is basically the only one Lily can hang out with and talk too, but as the book goes on, if a black women lied, than there would be a lot more consequences than if lily lied.
