Hey guys,
I was doing the homework last night and this question seems really weird to me:
6. Why does Lily think that the figurine is the Virgin Mary?
And the book goes like this :
"Even though she wasn't dressed up like Mary and didn't resemble the picture on the honey jar, I knew that's who she was" (Page 70)
All I could think about is Lily can feel the religious power that' is within the Black Mary.
What do you guys think?
If you first time see an iPhone, will you think it is just a brick or it is something else.Cuz nobody always carries about a brick all day.It is a common sense. Her mother doesn't have any habits like collecting sculptures and she is a Catholic. So why she keeps this "figurine".These two points is enough to prove that it is the Virgin Mary. :)
ReplyDeleteThat question is pretty weird for me too. Maybe Lily thought There is no exactly picture of Vrigin Mary. Lily feels powerful about religion because she can gets a bit connect with her mom. I think so:D
